What is an FDAS?

The Fire Detection and Alarm System is an important safety mechanism designed to alert building occupants in the event of smoke, fire, and any hazardous conditions enabling them to evacuate safely. It often includes several audible and visual components that work together to identify fire hazards and provide early warning. It often includes detectors, alarm devices, control panels, manual call points, and notification appliances.

The different types of fire alarm systems are conventional, addressable, and semi-addressable.
